Why should you bring a claim?
You have a right to claim compensation and most people or organisations responsible for your injury will have insurance cover specifically for this purpose.
If you do not claim then you may lose out financially, for example loss of earnings, medication expenses, travel costs to and from medical appointments etc… If you are injured by someone you have a right to claim and there will almost always be insurance in place to pay your compensation.

What are the chances of success?
Your claim will be initially assessed and this assessment will be undertaken by an experienced and specialised firm of personal injury Solicitors.
If the firm of specialist personal injury Solicitors is of a view that your case does not have sufficient prospects of success then you will be informed straight away. This information will be provided by way of a FREE 'no obligation' discussion.
If your case does have reasonable prospects of success then you will be informed and arrangements will be made to discuss matters with you further on a 'no win, no fee*, no risk' basis.
In the majority of cases people are happy to be visited at home to discuss matters further. If you do not want a home visit please inform us and we will arrange for matters to be dealt with over the telephone or in an office.

No Win, No Fee*, No Risk?
Since 1995 Solicitors have been able to undertake personal injury cases on a 'no win, no fee*, no risk' basis.
This means that you can have a firm of specialist personal injury Solicitors conducting your personal injury claim with no financial risk to yourself.
If the case is unsuccessful then we don't get paid and you don't pay anything.
If the case is successful then your compensation and legal costs will be claimed from the Defendant's insurance company. You can therefore claim compensation for your injury and financial losses with the assistance of a firm of specialist personal injury Solicitors without financial risk to yourself.

How much compensation will I receive?
You are entitled to claim not only for your injury, but also for any financial losses suffered as a result of the injury, including:
- Loss of earnings, including overtime and bonuses
- Travel to and from medical appointments
- Medication including prescriptions
- Private medical treatment
- Care given by members of your family
- Damage caused to any of your personal effects
There are many items for which you can make a claim and this will be discussed with you in detail as your claim proceeds.

Do I have to go to court?
Please do not let the worry of attending court put you off making a claim for compensation. The vast majority of claims settle without going to court, in fact very few cases ever do go to court.
Whilst going to court can never be ruled out there is a very high percentage chance that you will not need to attend court at all.

Does it involve a lot of my time?
It can be difficult to access how long a claim takes to conclude. Some cases will conclude within months but other cases can take longer especially if the injuries are more severe.
The length of time the case is likely to take can be discussed with you at the initial consultation and throughout the duration of your case.
Our aim is to provide you with an efficient service, as you will appreciate on a 'No win, No fee*, No Risk' basis a firm of specialist personal injury Solicitors will not get paid unless the case is successful and will not get paid until the conclusion of the case. It is therefore not in the firm of Solicitors interest to prolong the case any longer than necessary.
One real advantage with 'No win, No fee*' is that the firm of specialist personal injury Solicitors has to win your case to get paid and only gets paid after they have won the case.
If your claim is successful the firm of specialist personal Solicitors will claim your compensation and legal costs from the Defendant.

Client Involvement?
We aim to provide you with not only a fast and efficient service and one which has no financial risk to yourself. We also aim to inconvinience you as little as possible. For that reason we would seek to meet you at your home at a time convinient to you in regards to the initial consultation.
We would also seek to deal with many aspects of you case without your involvement, or when your involvement is needed we would seek to deal with matters by way of telephone.
You will most likely have to attend a medical appointment with a medical expert or consultant instructed by us, in order to obtain a medical report regarding your injuries, even if you have recovered from the injuries.
We realise that this may be an inconvinience, but it is important not only within the case but also for yourself to see a medical expert or consultant through us who will not only give a detailed report but can recommend appropriate treatment.
We are able to get Client's to medical appointments in many cases, far quicker than you could see a similar consultant under the NHS.
If treatment is recommended in many cases this is something we can also seek to organise on your behalf, in many cases the treatment can be paid for privately by the Defendant's insurance company.
It is a fact that if someone receives treatment for an injury sooner rather than later then there are usually better prospects of recovery. The time you will be involved and the inconvinience to you will be minimal. We do require your co-operation and assistance to run your personal injury claim.

Geography?
We deal with Client's thoughout the country, if you are resident in England or Wales even if the accident happened abroad please contact us as there may be English jurisdiction for your claim.
